Awareness
Understanding the behavioural, practical and system-level drivers of vaccination decisions, and how seasonal COVID vaccination can be better integrated into national programmes.
Objective
Address knowledge gaps around COVID-19 disease burden — particularly hospitalisation rates — and strengthen the visibility of disease burden and vaccination coverage, while supporting evidence-based communication.
Adoption
Improving visibility of disease burden and vaccination coverage, and supporting clear communication about COVID as an ongoing public health challenge.
Objective
Promote routine vaccination by examining the gaps between recommendations and actual uptake, with a focus on the behavioural drivers of vaccination decisions.
Adaptability
Strengthening the resilience of immunisation systems, including the processes needed to support predictable vaccine availability and broad protection across multiple platforms.
Objective
Build more resilient, integrated systems — including strain selection and surveillance processes — to improve routine COVID-19 vaccination.
